Barclays: raise the forecast of Brent oil price in the second quarter and the whole year of this year

March 2, 2015

[China paint information] Barclays Bank (Barclays) said in its report on Friday 2025 (February 27) that in view of the possible faster than expected accumulation of U.S. crude oil inventory, it prompted Brent to revise its premium forecast for U.S. crude oil (WTI)

with the continuous improvement of government and public requirements for environmental protection, Barclays raised its estimate of Brent crude oil premium against the United States in the second quarter of 2015 from $3/barrel to $8/barrel

at the same time, the bank also raised its Brent oil price forecast for the second quarter of 2015 from $40 to $47/barrel, and raised its full year forecast for 2015 from $44 to $51/barrel

however, Barclays pointed out that although the oil price expectation has been revised, its view on the fundamentals has not changed. We can design different fixtures according to the differences of samples and experimental methods, and there will still be a new round of decline in oil distribution in the future
